![]() Though only an audio file was recovered from the PDA, much can be gathered just by what is heard. The shattered PDA was the first recovered piece of information contributing to the known information about the Void Optic Leviathan. With this technology, it is believed that the Void Optic Leviathan can finally be properly documented in the Alterra information databank. Despite being fully aware of the Leviathan's power, they continued sending personnel to research it, equipping them with an experimental PDA known for uploading information directly to an Alterra database. The only recovered piece of information contributing to the research was a partially shattered PDA left at a research site with an ominous audio file tagged onto it.Īfter time has passed since the Leviathan has last been looked into, Alterra found it to be in their interest to continue research expeditions revolving around the creature. Though many expeditions have been sent out, all that has been discovered is the creature's sheer power and a rough idea of how unfathomably large it actually is. While much about it is still unknown, expedition teams have been sent as close to the void as possible, some even sent into it. The Void Optic Leviathan is believed to be the deadliest known Leviathan-class organism on 4546B. Similarly, there remains no definite size, but judging by how much control it has over the void surrounding Sector 2, it is believed to be the largest organism known to inhabit the planet. TL:DR: Most maps were missing 3 Reapers, this maps corrects that. The Void Optic Leviathan is currently the only Leviathan known to exist on planet 4546B that has no documented appearance. Credit goes to LenaSpace, whom I am trying to contact. If anyone is really good at picture editing, I would LOVE for an updated map that has all circles looking the same, as mine are slightly off. Leviathans DO NOT respawn, if you have been killing them and see it back again, you may have had this happened. On console versions of the game, assets can glitch and reset, causing creatures and resources to respawn. If you see more Leviathans than what is posted above, make a new save file and check again. On all versions of the game upon starting a game file, very rarely the game creates duplicate spawns at a single point like this. I also added this information to the Subnautica wiki and emailed the people at so they can update their popular interactive map. The 8 in the Dunes are accurate, so no changes there beyond maybe minor coordinate changes if I have the time. I made a previous post with the proof for the 7 Reapers in the Mountains. I also used the "fog" command to get clearer pictures.ģ12 -28 -829 Crash Zone Trench - New Reaperġ112 -87 287 Crash Zone - Also known as "Sammy" The front of the body behind the head was used as the center point. I used the "entreset" command to reset the game assets allowing me to move on top of their spawn. In the highlighted map the dark red circles are the added spawns.įull Detailed Map with all Leviathan Spawnsīelow is the proof for each Reaper Spawn in the Crash Zone. I don't have the best editing skills, but here is the full detailed map with all 25 Reaper Leviathan spawns correctly positioned. Occasionally people would post in this subreddit about there being more than 4 Reapers behind the Aurora, but didn't provide proof of their claim. Most maps are missing 2 spawns in the Crash Zone and 1 in the Mountains. ![]() When looking at older maps you would sometimes see a Reaper spawn point that was much different from newer maps, this is because some older maps had correctly identified some Reaper spawns, but missed others. I assume this was because map creators would copy each other without verification. All previous maps have had incorrect spawns/amounts. The purpose of this post is to have an accurate map of all Leviathan Spawns. ![]()
